Jane Deuser gears marketing activities to achieve corporate goals and channel strategy into actionable, tactical plans. With 20 years of hands-on experience in marketing and business development in the US and Europe, Ms. Deuser has successfully launched new ventures and has helped turn around companies on both sides of the Atlantic through innovative marketing and business development programs.
Ms. Deuser applies concrete market analysis to set brand strategy and product goals with her clients. This analysis, and a realistic view of available resources, form the base for practical, creative, integrated marketing plans that address market positioning in all aspects of the sales and marketing mix. In her tool kit: extensive experience in advertising, public relations, sales literature, training, customer service, Internet communications, retail planning and new product development.
For Orrefors, a Swedish crystal company, Ms Deuser uncovered the “hot buttons” in the U.S. consumer market and helped adapt brand strategy to launch harmonized global branding. From this strategy, Ms. Deuser created a comprehensive marketing communications program to increase awareness and impact sales. For GE Capital, Ms Deuser launched an inaugural sports marketing/customer relationship built around GE Capital’s sponsorship of TeamPenske on the IndyCar circuit. Over 700 GE hosts and guests attended 14 IndyCar races across North America, resulting in better client relationships, cross-selling of services and larger deals.
She was the North American Marketing Manager for Meridien Hotels, Inc. participating in the opening of four U.S. properties. As Marketing Director of West Design Products Ltd in England, she launched two new products that became market leaders within 18 months, despite restricted budgets and entrenched competition. A Sloan Fellow of the London Business School, Ms Deuser received her B.A. degree in French, with minors in communications and international relations, from the University of Colorado.
